HOUSE OF TEXTURES
Located in Jaipur, the House of Textures is a renovated apartment that marries design thinking with exceptional project management and execution. Gangwal PMC managed to renovate this two-storey old residence spanning an area of 700 sq. ft into a beautiful and mesmerizing one in just 15 months with the help of the best designer.
Not a standardized place to live, the residence was not in good shape and lacked natural sunlight and circulation. The added design challenge was the no lift for connectivity, and the double-height window was the structural challenge.
For the lack of movement challenge, the team proposed a new layout. There were changes in the elevation and the facade, but the ventilation and light problem got resolved by a new cutout. Civil changes also included positioning the staircase and the lift lobby correctly. The best part was that everything was created in-house by collaborating with local designers, vendors, and other professionals.
